I also have a family
my wife Sarah Kadijah,
my daughters Rebecca
Merriam and Rachel
and my little boy Salaam —
we’re a poor family —
peasants of Gaza.

Please don’t kill me, brother!
I also believe in One True God —
YHVH, El, Yeshua, Allah —
in God who has many names —
for sure He has many names right?
For He is God almighty!
the Father of us all!

Brother, God is life!
Isn’t He? And He is peace!
Shalom, salaam and shanti!

Hesed Jack is a Volunteer Worker at Christ Our Life Fellowship at the University of the Philippines in Diliman Quezon City. He leads Bible Studies, cell groups, worship, and prayer to UP Diliman students. He also teaches for free at the Iglesia Seminaryo Anawim. Among the subjects he’s handling are: Theology, Hermeneutics, Spiritual Formation, Church History, Curriculum Development, Community Development, Philosophy, Poetry.   1. And so is Yaw of the Akkadian/Sumerian pantheon who has become Yahweh, the rebellious son of El and Ashera?

    But still, some Christian scholars, and even mu Sufi profeesor at UP Diliman argues that El, Elohim, Eloi (Aramaic) is Allah and the Koran has many Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek, Persian words also.

    And going further — what about Bathala, Laon, Gugurang, Kabunian — are these also other names of God?
