For us, the white ribbon is more than a symbol. It is a public witness calling for truth, transparency, accountability, justice, and the transformation of a society wounded by corruption, impunity, abuse of power, and persistent social inequalities.
As a peacebuilding organization, we understand that peace is more than the absence of armed conflict or political tension. Genuine peace requires the presence of justice, the protection of human dignity, and the transformation of systems that perpetuate suffering, exclusion, and hopelessness. A nation cannot experience lasting peace when public trust is eroded by corruption, when the vulnerable are neglected, and when those entrusted with public office evade accountability.
